Interview with a SENDCO: Louise Lawn

As the SEND system navigates a period of reform to better support the needs of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, the requirement for knowledgeable professionals is more important than ever.
To gain insight from a professional with over ten years experience, specialist SEND recruitment agency, Spencer Clarke Group, recently spoke to SENDCO, Louise Lawn to discover how she keeps up to date with industry changes and deals with the challenges of her role.
As she nears her second year as a SENDCO, Louise has transitioned from Human Resource Management, to Service Manager and a SEND Teacher, now excelling in her role as a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator.
Driven by her commitment to positively impacting the lives of individuals with learning disabilities, Louise discusses what she has learnt throughout her career so far.
