Toria tried EduTwitter before without much success. She is now trying again and giving the smaller names in education a voice.
The face of education is changing so quickly and sometimes I find it hard to keep up. A few years ago, I tried to engage with Twitter as I heard that this was a great way to learn about changes in teaching and learning – a veritable online CPD tool. I had heard that all you needed to do was ask a question and answers would come streaming towards you. Well, that wasn’t my experience – so I gave up and went back to the books (quite literally).
For some unknown reason, my New Year’s Resolution for 2020 was to re-engage with Twitter and figure it out. I’m pleased to say that I have finally have! It is a strange and interesting world that is filled with a wealth of knowledge. When I ask a question now, I do find that answers stream in and I am learning so much on a daily basis – it truly is online CPD. If you have never quite got Twitter, then read my post to find out what I did to change my experience. It will be incredibly worthwhile – I promise! Read the whole blog here.
