Bethanie Ruston

Bethanie is fast approaching the end of her NQT year in a year 4 class. Before this, she studied at the University of Brighton for a degree in Primary Education (with QTS). Whilst there, she received the Routledge Prize for outstanding contribution to primary education. Bethanie believes in the power or learning through discovery in a creative, fluid and inclusive environment. Prior to teaching, she worked as a support worker for children with learning difficulties and disabilities. She also studied for a National Diploma in Textiles and so passionately encourages creativity within the classroom. She believes that education is a lifelong process and that nobody should ever stop seeking out opportunities to grow and develop.
