Nexus Education announces the Nexus Education Blog Awards 2019

North west based online teaching community, Nexus Education have announced a new awards ceremony taking place in early 2019.
The Nexus Education Blog Awards 2019 takes place at Stoke-on-Tern Primary School on February 22nd 2019 and aims to recognise the contribution of educational bloggers from across the UK.
Co-founder, Mike Reardon, notes ‘’This free to attend event is our thank you for helping to build Nexus Education in to one of the most engaged platforms for teachers in the UK to share ideas, resources and free CPD via the form of blogging. We will be providing fantastic guest speakers, well earned individual awards and complimentary food and drink. We want to stand out as a company that gives back to our community and we can think of no better way than the Nexus Education Blog Awards’’.
Headteacher of host venue, Stoke-on-Tern Primary School, Heather said ”Everyone at Stoke-On-Tern Primary is so excited to be hosting the 2019 Nexus Education Blog Awards. We are looking forward to welcoming educators and bloggers from all across the UK to our school and working with Nexus Education on this fantastic event.’’
Just some of the categories to be awarded at the event include:
Best NQT/CPD Blog, Best Health & Wellbeing Blog, Best Literacy/Numeracy Blog, the Best Commercial Partner Award and the award for the blog with most social media engagement over the last 12 months.
Alongside the above, there will also be a Judges Choice award. Five Judges from the global education sector will pour through the 300+ entries to determine the winner of the 2019 Judges Choice Award.
Nexus Education’s community manager, Rhiannon Challenger, commented ‘’I have the pleasure of speaking to these wonderful bloggers every day as well as reading through every piece that we publish on our website. To be able to recognise them for their hard work is very rewarding for everyone at Nexus Education.’’
