Nexus Education proudly donated £2,000 to school groups in Telford and Cornwall this week as part of their NeXworking workshops, which are taking the UK by storm.
Firstly, on Thursday, 22 schools in Telford were introduced to six suppliers specifically hand picked to provide solutions to issues their schools were facing.
Cluster group leader, Sarah, said ” It was a really good event and very informative. Some of those people I would have walked past at a normal conference and not talked to them, so it was very good being able to take time to listen and chat about our schools and our needs.”
Next up, 24 hours later, were 26 school business leaders in Cornwall eager to sit down and talk to providers from outside Cornwall who can offer something different to what they may be experiencing at the moment.
CASBM cluster leader, Andrew, noted ”The event format really works, the group are engaged and the room is really a hive of activity”.
So far, since September 2018, Nexus Education has donated to over 72 schools across 4 different school leader groups in the UK.
